Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

The previous version of this revue was read on March 20th. The present has practically the same story and incidents, but the dialogue is a good deal altered. As before the thing consists almost entirely of patter between the two comedians, "back chat' and quarrelling. They personate an Indian Prince and his Secretary, have a fishing adventure, steal everybody's jewellery on board ship, are relieved of it by sham policeman, and in the last scene evade arrest by the real Prince by a change of dress. It is singularly free from any sexual suggestiveness - just rough fun. The songs are not given. If there are any fresh ones in addition to those on the previous occasion they should be sent, but I hardly think the licence need be delayed. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street. Jan 6th 1917 A new song has been sent in which may be passed.
