A School Outing
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
A miniature variety entertainment, apparently intended for performance chiefly by children and for their innocent delectation. For their few hours by sea the children are accompanied by their teacher, who wants to teach them something of the wonders of the deep, but finds himself or herself, awkwardly interrupted by the comic black sheep of the little flock. This youth eventually breaks out into a series of melodies, some of the nursery order, and some of the school-room type; and these are followed by topical ditties dealing with lady postmen, munition-workers, and so forth. The piece is as harmless as any other food for babies. Recommended for Licence. Ernest A. Bendall
