Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is the slight and rather strained, yet quite entertaining, domestic comedy of the disagreement of a gay innocent schoolgirl wife with the elderly priggish husband who is perpetually lecturing her about the frivolity of her tastes. Rebelling at last at his cold sarcasm, and fortified by the arrival of her gay soldier brother ‘home on leave’ the wife tells some home-truths, winding up with a threat to leave him. This brings him to his senses with remarkable rapidity, and recognizing the error of his didactic methods he soon wins the forgiveness of his ‘incomplete wife’. Recommended for license. Ernest A. Bendall.
