The Muddler
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
A rather old-fashioned, pretty little comedy of character. The rector of Compton is a dear old generous muddler. I confess his muddles in regard to money, though they are not of his own advantage, strike me as extremely reprehensible but since he is such an old dear, and since the play is written by a clergyman, I assume no enthusiastic admirer of the clergy will take offence.
