The Tramway Inspector and the Lady Guard

A tramway inspector sings a song and then examines an applicant for the post of guard, a woman. The jokes consist of misunderstandings about words, rather vulgar but innocent for the most part. She is engaged and then they sing a duet. The first song embodies the stupid old joke about looking at women when they partially expose themselves, as, in this instance, getting into a tramcar. It seems to me merely silly and tiresome, but may be thought offensive. On P2 there is a joke about taking down "particulars" - "is this necessary?" - which apparently refers to female attire. I hardly think it is worth cutting [...]
