Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

Domestic sketch of a lazy artisan's quarrel with his hard-working nagging wife, who sneers at his talk of enlisting, but is much distressed when she finds that he is really attempting to do so. As he cannot pass the medical examination his threat remains unfulfilled; the pair make up their quarrel in their determination to take in a couple of Belgian refugee children.
