Economic Pressure
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
An obvious but amusing farcical treatment of the problem of domestic economy, as enforced in theory by a husband, and suffered in practice by a wife. The latter, finding that her housekeeping allowance runs short while her husband’s personal expenditure is kept up, teaches him his much-needed lesson by cutting down his meals and his other home-comforts. Common-sense if commonplace. Ernest A. Bendall.
