In the Secret Service
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
An exceptionally stupid spy play. The wife (with 'Teuton blood') of a captain in the navy sells official secrets. She arranges with a spy that he is to shoot the captain if the latter finds out: instead of which he shoots her by mistake. It may be a pity to represent a captain R. N. as telling his wife official secrets, but the play can hardly be spun for that research, and it is too slight and insignificant to matter. Recommended for license. G. S. Street
