Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A funny well observed little bit of comedy. Ernie and Maggie, two young people of the 'working classes' flirt together and kiss in a public park. Maggie's mother, Mrs Downs a widow, surprises them and is volubly indignant. Mr Hicks, Ernie's father, a widower, comes on the scene and shares the indignation. But when Maggie and Ernie have been sent home, Mrs Downs and Mr Hicks start love-making on their own account. The person to profit is a tramp, who levies contributions from both couples.
