Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

The dialogue in this play is chiefly a vehicle for songs and dances. A showman engages a Gypsy King and his followers to dance and sing and they rehearse accordingly. There are also two comic dialogues. 1) The familiar shame restaurant and waiting interlude, and (2) about the sort of young man a girl wants to marry. It seems a quite harmless production. The songs are published. Recommended for licence G. S. Street
