Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

Maggie, the Scotch servant of a rather awe-inspiring mistress, is engaged to Duncan, who undertakes the task of announcing Maggie's approaching departure. The mistress mistakes him for a would-be purchaser of her dog Meg, whereupon there ensue the familiar misunderstandings as to the subject of the lady's eulogies and fault-findings, until the time comes for the necessary word of explanation. Harmless if not particularly refined joke. Recommended for license. Ernest A. Bendall.
