Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

[...] In the first scene the comedian is made a millionaire on condition that he does not kiss a girl for six months and invites everybody to stay with him. In the second scene there is a business of two cats making love and quarrelling and having things thrown at them. In the third the comedian gives a party and after a comic auction and conjuring tricks kisses a girl, but the fairy forgives him on the condition he married her. A few of the lines are vaguely suggestive but not, I think, worth troubling about; the piece as a whole reads harmlessly. The songs are given and are innocent. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street.
