Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is a version, apparently rewritten and with new songs, of a piece previously licensed as "Finger-Prints". Its sketchy story is that of the playful proceedings at a Sanatorium for the Rich, where patients are cured of their disease by being relieved of their wealth. Prominent among the characters are a millionaire invalid, and an adventuress who, in order to secure him, takes the place of Manageress at the Sanatorium. There are also the usual comic waiter and comic guest. The irrelevant fun includes the humours of a timekeeper at a factory, and also of some blunderers trying to fix up a tent. There is no real wit in any of it; but there is no suggestion of offence. Recommended for License. Ernest A.Bendall.
