Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

There is a sort of plot in this "musical mix up". The scene is a ladies' academy and the proprietor is in love with Lola. But at an eccentric club in New York he was married in the dark to an unknown lady. It was really Lola, of course, but the comedian first assigns a different wife and husband to them respectively. The thing is eked out with comic examinations, and cloak room scene and so on. The dialogue is vulgar and every now and then suggestive, but as it stands I can find nothing quite deserving excision. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street.
