My wife from London
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
A little Scotch play. John Robinson wants his son to marry Jeannie. The son has actually married her before he ran away to London and become an actor. He comes back and dresses Jeanie up to pretend to be his wife from London, deceiving the short-sighted old John, who of course forgives the trick. Quite innocent.
