A Gigolette
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This sketch is to take the place of a play called "As in a Dressing Room". The lot and dialogue are merely a vehicle for an Apache dancer. Gigolette has been an Apache but is now happily married. Her old Apache master breaks into her flat when she is alone; they do a dance, then he tries to strangle her but is stabbed by her instead. There is no harm in this peice of violence if there is no harm in the dance but I have marked on p5 a piece of dialogue which may indicated la Gigolette's previous prostitution too crudely [...]
