This is a duologue and is certainly a stage play within the meaning of the act; it resembles a scene in a "revue". There are two parts; one supposed to be a porter, the other a female part descried as N.W tells the porter she is going on their honeymoon and the very different conduct of the husband on the return journey. The thing concludes with the familiar business of the man throwing onto the stage, apparently from a cupboard - his coat and trousers and then appearing fully dressed - in evening dress and her fiance, who has been masquerading as the porter.
