Some gossips in a ‘mean street’ suspect a new neighbour of being a German spy on the strength of her possessing a sewing machine and a carpet, but it turns out that she is the widow of a soldier who fell at Wipers and is making shirts for the army. Quite good in a modest way. Recommended for license, G. S. Street
