Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is being advertised as being by Mr Knoblauch - his name is not on the script. Somebody on the stage announces that Mr Playfair and Miss Haye will oblige with a sketch. Both rise in the audience and explain they had made a mistake about the date. However, they agree to try and go up on the stage. Then they quarrel and Miss Haye takes Mr Playfair in by pretending she has lost a ring. No doubt they will be amusing - but Mr Knoblauch, on this occasion, is not. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street
