Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is an episode chaffing one of the war-time garden parties which, according to the fashion of the day, are given for wounded soldiers. Much is made out of the economical demand for shabby dress and slummy ways, regarded as the correct thing just now. The whole ends with the ‘slumberland’ song-parody. Recommended for license.
