Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is a romping musical sketch of the rede out of an erratic hero with an unknown lady, for whom he has advertised "view matrimony". The opening scene is at a Tube station, where much confusion arises through the non recognition of the man by the girl, to this he adds by the tricks which he plays with the booking office clerk. The pair proposes to go to a Covent Garden Ball, filling up their time meanwhile at a coffee stall which the hero pretends to keep. Arrived at Covent Garden the two enjoys more fun over the pretend loss of his ticket, and of his lady friend who turns up just in time to bring the lively nonsense to an end. Recommended for licence Ernest A. Bendall. Scene 1 revised and past 5th December 1916 for New Middlesex Theatre.
