Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A new version of a revue, or miniature musical comedy, which has been played for some time. The story is still that of a sham American millionaire and his daughter who, in search of high society, are imposed upon by a travelling theatrical troupe, using as Dukes and Aides at a seaside hotel. To this theme, merrily worked out, are now added various songs and scenes, the chief of them dealing with the question of women’s war-work. No harm is suggested by any of the fun, which is accordingly recommended for license. Ernest A. Bendall.
