Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

This is certainly a revised version of a similar farce with songs I have read some time ago, but I cannot remember its name. A schoolgirl elopes with a man and they go to a seaside place to be married. His son and her mother come to the same hotel for the same purpose. After some misunderstandings and absurd speculations as to their future relationships the suitable couples of course pair off, the girl with the son and the mother with his father. The plot might have been unpleasantly used, but as it stands it is quite innocent nonsense. The songs are sent and are harmless. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street.
