The Prince and the Gipsy Girl
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
A variation on an old theme. A Prince falls in love with a gypsy girl, who is really a stolen princess but the "papers" are in the possession of a wicked gipsy who wants her for himself. He is made to give up the papers to a comic gamekeeper, the funny man of the piece and all ends happily. It is inoffensive, but some songs are not given and must be sent in unless published. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street The songs now sent appear to have been published and are inoffensive. G.S.S.
