Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A brutal tragedietta of the Grand Guignol order. It deals with the loves, treachery, and jealous revenge of three Apaches, called respectively the Tiger, the Rat and the Ferret. The Rat is the Tiger's mistress; and the Ferret, his confederate, suspecting her loyalty, makes love to her and induces her to consent to a plan which - through the agency of the police - will get him out of their way. Unluckily for the Ferret the Rat gets wind of his plot, and, when it is carried out, the Ferret's life and not the Tiger's is the one sacrificed in the sordid intrigue. Repulsive but not otherwise objectionable; and Recommended for License. Ernest A. Bendall.
