The Affair of Room 14
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This is the miniature melodrama of the coup of a female thief who, posing as a detective, frightens a male hotel-thief out of the plunder for which he has just committed murder. The artful woman fools not only her former accomplice in crime but also the policeman whom she calls in to arrest him; and, leaving the pair handcuffed together, she gets safely off with her booty.
