Great War Theatre

Examiner of Plays' Summary:

A. Has bought B's mill, apparently without consulting B., and thereby deprived B's employees of their livelihood. Therefore B. comes with a revolver to Mrs A. and says if she cannot persuade A. To tear up the agreement when the clock strikes he will shoot A. Mrs A. successfully pleads with A. To grant her this favour and tears up the agreement as the clock strikes. So A's life is spared and Mrs A. faints. As harmless as it is silly. Recommended for License, G. S. Street.
