The Confidence Trick
Examiner of Plays' Summary:
A little comic interlude which can, however, quite well be played anywhere as a little play in itself. "Get-rich-quick" Wallingford comes to England under the impression that we are easily cheated. But he himself is the victim of the confidence trick at the hands of a benevolent looking old gentleman, who gives him sham notes while he takes "G.R.Q's" good ones. Recommended for Licence G. S. Street.
