Great War Theatre

Edmund Frobisher was an actor, playwright and manager of theatres and cinemas. His real name was Herbert P. [possibly Percival] Bisher. During his career he was the manager of the Croft Road Theatre and the Olympia Theatre, Stirling. He also wrote plays including 'John o' Dreams' and 'My Princess'. In 1923 he took over running the Dumbarton Picture House and after that the Eclipse Picture House in Port Glasgow.
