Mrs Cyril Morris [aka Anita Jeanette Flanagan, aka Miss Nita Faydon]
Nita Faydon was the stage name of Anita Morris, also known as Mrs Cyril Morris. Faydon was a young mother at the outbreak of the First World War. Once she married, she took to writing plays using her married name. She retained a lively interest in theatre throughout her life and would treat her grandchildren to outings to see London plays and musicals. One of her plays was staged by a local repertory theatre in Farnham, Surrey in the 1950s.
