Examiner of Plays' Summary:
This is a rather unpleasant foolery, the chief character being that disagreeable element in such pieces, the elderly roue who kisses the various females. [...] There is a suggestive air about the piece and I should not be surprised if it is played in such a way as to provoke complaints. I cannot find, however, anything definite to cut in the dialogue. Perhaps a general caution might be given. Recommended for Licence. G. S. Street
